Why online?
Life is busy for parents and students. Online tutoring can save you significant time and travel, reducing some of your stress.
That all sounds great, but I also know that many parents and students had a bad experience with online learning during COVID.
My promise to you is that I do things differently. Our sessions will be engaging and highly interactive—no boring lectures or monologues! We will take advantage of virtual tools to optimize learning and I will guide you through it.
How we do it
When we start we’ll assess your technology and spend as much time as needed to work out the logistics. Every situation is different, but we’ll figure things out up front.
The most convenient situation is if you have access to a touch screen (e.g., laptop or iPad), but we can also make things work if you decide to purchase a document camera.
We’ll do the tutoring over Zoom and will make use of Zoom’s many interactive whiteboard tools.
